Good visual design is fundamental to good user experience. Google’s Material Design language provides the foundation of modern UI/UX design. In this class we will cover Material Design as well as Interaction Design principles. You’ll learn how to make sure you design for the eye as well as the brain. The course will provide tools and techniques for elegant visual design/ UX design. We’ll cover topics like color perception, cultural sensitivity, Flat design, accessibility compliance, localization considerations and design differentiation.

Frank Spillers is a distinguished speaker, author, and internationally respected Senior UX practitioner and UX Master Trainer. Frank received his Master's in Cognitive Science (MS) from Birmingham University, UK in the user experience of virtual reality with an emphasis on collaborative virtual environments.
