Clone of A Quick and Practical Intro to Human-Centered Design

Agenda:

A Quick and Practical Introduction to Human-Centered Design

  • How are organizations like Apple, AirBnB, USAA, Capital One, and countless start-ups benefiting from Human Centered Design?
  • Beyond traditional approaches, including the customer-centric Agile software development approach, as well as Voice of the Customer efforts, what happens to product management when organizations follow, or fail to follow user-centered processes and practices?

Topic:
Human-Centered Design (also called User Centered Design) is becoming the gold standard method for creating digital experiences. But what does human-centered look like? What is it's business value?

Products, processes, services and your entire organization all benefit to gain from the innovation brought by going from UX Design to Human Centered Design. In this webinar, we take a practical look at what Human Centered Design looks like, and how to practically benefit from it's methodology and techniques.

Human Centered Design has decades of trial and error behind it. It has only recently been realized as a high ROI (Return on Investment) yielding business asset. Today, User Experience is moving from art form to business tool. Human Centered Design today is being used across the product lifecycle for validating business requirements to guiding design, and developing quality-first software.

In this webinar we will look at Human Centered Design as a business and design tool, give you practical examples of it's impact in action, show you where it does not work, and finally give you tips on where your organization should begin.

Agenda:

  1. Human Centered Design: What it looks like from start-ups to enterprises.
  2. Business benefits of Human Centered Design
  3. A View from the Trenches: practical examples; defining best practices.
  4. A lifecycle view of UX maturity: how companies like Apple benefit from Human Centered Design
  5. First steps: Where to begin? (Even if you do UX Design today)
